Images and uploads

Anywhere you can add a picture, click Select image:

• Upload: choose a file from your computer, or drop it on the box.
• Your files: pick an image already in your store, with a search box.
• Paste a link to an image on the web.

Uploads are saved to Content → Files in your Shopify admin, so they load fast from Shopify and stay with your store even if you change themes. Images can be up to 20 MB and 4472 × 4472 pixels.

Phones

Sections with a picture can have a Mobile image too, like a taller crop, shown on phones instead.

Readable text on pictures

Use the overlay slider and colour to darken a picture behind text.

Screen readers

Fill in Description for screen readers so shoppers using them know what the picture shows.
