Terms of Service

These terms apply when you ("you", the merchant) install and use Quizpep: Product Quiz Builder ("Quizpep", the "app") on your Shopify store. Quizpep is provided by Blinix Solutions LLC, a company registered in the United States ("we", "us"). By installing the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. They apply alongside Shopify's own terms.

1. The service

Quizpep lets you build product quizzes, show them on your store, recommend your products to shoppers, and see how your quizzes perform. We may improve or change features over time. If we remove a feature you rely on, we will tell you in the app first where we reasonably can.

2. Plans and billing

• Quizpep has a free plan and paid plans. Current prices and limits are shown in the app on the Plans page.
• Paid plans are billed by Shopify, through your Shopify invoice. Your first paid plan includes a 14-day free trial.
• You can change or cancel your plan at any time in the app. Uninstalling the app cancels any paid plan.
• Charges already billed are not refunded, except where Shopify's billing rules or the law require it.

3. Your responsibilities

• Use Quizpep lawfully and in line with Shopify's terms.
• Make sure your quiz content and product information are accurate and that you have the rights to use them.
• Tell your shoppers about the quiz in your store's privacy policy, and collect any consent the law requires, for example for email marketing.
• Only connect other apps (such as email marketing tools) that you are allowed to share your shoppers' data with.

4. How we process your shoppers' data

When shoppers take your quizzes, you decide what data is collected and we process it on your behalf. We commit to the following:

• Instructions: we process shoppers' data only to provide Quizpep to you, as described in our Privacy Policy and as you set it up in the app.
• No other use: we never sell it, use it for advertising, or combine it with other merchants' data.
• Confidentiality: only people who run and support Quizpep can access it, and they must keep it confidential.
• Security: it is sent over HTTPS, and shoppers' emails and answers are encrypted in our database.
• Sub-processors: we use Shopify and our hosting provider (Namecheap, United States), plus any apps you choose to connect. We will update our Privacy Policy before adding a new sub-processor.
• Requests: we act on shoppers' erasure requests sent through Shopify automatically, and help you answer other requests.
• Deletion: shoppers' quiz data is deleted 24 months after the quiz was taken, and all your data is deleted 48 hours after you uninstall. Export your submissions first if you want to keep them.
• Incidents: if a security incident affects your shoppers' data, we will tell you without undue delay.

5. Content and ownership

Your quizzes, products and store data remain yours. You give us permission to use them only to provide the app to you. Quizpep itself, including its software, templates and design, belongs to us. Template photos come from Unsplash and may be used under the Unsplash licence.

6. Other apps

If you connect another app, such as an email marketing tool, your use of that app is governed by its own terms. We are not responsible for how other apps handle data you send to them.

7. Availability and warranties

We work to keep Quizpep available and working well, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We don't guarantee any particular sales or results from using quizzes.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for Quizpep in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Ending the service

You can stop using Quizpep at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we stop offering the app. If we stop offering it, we will give you reasonable notice so you can export your submissions.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using Quizpep after a change, the new terms apply.
